In Gerald Swindle's mind, there's no sense in overthinking it when it comes to jig fishing. He knows what he likes because it's produced for him time and again in tournaments across the country.
Where others vary size and color fairly often, the two-time B.A.S.S. Angler of the Year has the most confidence in a 3/8-ounce brown jig tipped with a green-pumpkin craw imitation trailer.
"Keep it kind of simple and keep it kind of clean," he says.
